Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, Somatics and Juan Gabriel’s teaching experience from the last 10 years.

INNER ARTS
Lunar Slow Vinyasa Immersion
In this immersion, we will cultivate the root of Chandra Namaskar and explore meditative dancing warriors in a lunar flow as we learn how to skillfully lead lunar wave sequences. You will receive the transmission of lunar elemental namaskars as movement mediation along with lunar slow vinyasa sequences integrating mudrasanas (long holds with inner visualization).
You will also focus on learning basic prana flow self-massage for embodied knowledge of connective tissues, release of dense muscles, and awakening circulation of blood flow, lymph and prana flow. We will focus on the art of lunar hands on assist through self-massage and basic supportive flows from Ayurvedic Kalari-based massage which help lubricate and restore the inner and outer body.
Sahaja ~ a simple natural movement arising from within
Sahaja translates as ‘of itself’, ‘naturally’ or ‘spontaneously’.
During our time together Juan Gabriel will introduce you to the liberating world of Sahaja on and off the yoga mat with embodiment practices of movement meditation, Yoga Vinyasa creative sequencings and sprinkled with tantric philosophy. We will be opening to the many dimensions of yoga as we move from form to formlessness and back to form again tapping into the full body mandala circulations.
By drawing upon the qualities of Sahaja we move deeper into asanas with inspiration and change by surrendering, twisting and releasing spontaneously down the river of life force incorporating arm balances, inversions core strength and more leaving you feeling uplifted, inspired and totally liberated!

To embark on a Sadhana means to listen to your body and feed it with the nourishment that it so deeply calls for. In today’s world, there are millions of distractions, all causing the nervous system to be on overdrive, creating a discord and disconnection to the physical self and present moment. We are often ‘too busy’ to slow down, put our legs up the wall, take some deep conscious breaths and simply tune into the rhythm of our heartbeat.
In this time together, you are invited to surrender and relax as we flow through a Slow practice with the primary intention of balancing the nervous system and bringing equilibrium to your entire being. During our still moments of marinating in poses Juan Gabriel will bathe you in the mystic and poetic translations of the Radiant Sutras (classic yoga meditation text) to enhance your deeply reflective state of being as your heart rate and blood pressure lowers while simultaneously boosting and strengthening your immune system.
He will incorporate gentle natural movement to release physical tension, simple pranayama (breathing) techniques for optimal balance and easeful integration plus mudras (hand gestures) for over all wellness, with deep and supportive forward bends utilising blocks, bolsters, belts and massage techniques to melt into a sublime state of total relaxation.
This integrative and self supportive module will be explained in detail and includes hands- on- assist.
